DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Family Physician to provide home medical care throughout the province of Barcelona. The professional will be responsible for conducting follow-up visits and, when necessary, providing urgent home care, ensuring personalized and high-quality service.
Daily routes are pre-planned by the logistics team, allowing for efficient and organized work.

In Spain, it primarily focuses on primary and home care, promoting a model of preventive and close-to-home medicine.
Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct home visits to chronic patients, elderly individuals, or those in recovery;
• Assess the patient’s clinical status and define appropriate therapeutic measures;
• Attend urgent home calls as per assigned shifts or availability;
• Record information in the electronic health record system;
• Collaborate actively with the medical and coordination teams.
REQUIREMENTS
• Medical degree with specialization or experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care;
• Active membership with the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona (COMB);
• Valid B-type driver’s license;
• Availability to travel daily within the province of Barcelona;
• Fluent in Spanish (mandatory);
• Knowledge of Catalan will be considered an advantage.
Preferred:
• Previous experience in home care or palliative care;
• Skills in time management, autonomy, and clinical empathy.
