We’re looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our Sales Hub in Lisbon and support our growing customer base in the DACH Region, with a special focus on Germany ????????
In this hybrid role, you'll guide our Small Customers from their first steps with Pleo all the way to becoming passionate Pleo advocates. Your mission? Help them sign up, explore our features, and fully adopt the platform to power their growth.
You'll be based in our vibrant Lisbon office, home to our fast-paced and dynamic Sales Hub. Already in Portugal? Great! Not there yet? No worries, we’ll support you with a full relocation package, including both practical and financial help.
- Drive growth within the micro-customer segment (businesses with <10 employees), taking full ownership of their journey with Pleo.
- Nurture, support, and close sales for new inbound leads within the micro-customer segment.
- Engage with Pleo customers, helping them adopt advanced features and maximize the value they get from our platform.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring our users remain loyal to Pleo.
- Increase the number of customers referred through our Pleo Partner network.
- Manage, qualify, and prioritize inbound communications from all communication channels; email, and/or other performance marketing channels
- Work towards achieving daily and weekly revenue targets and key performance metrics.
In your first 6 months at Pleo, you’ll:
- Lead initiatives to drive impact in expanding Pleo’s presence in the SoHo segment.
- Grow your skills in sales and taking on new challenges as the company continues to scale its operations across DACH.
- We’re committed to helping you develop your career, whether that means taking on bigger projects, stepping into leadership, or acquiring new skills in sales.
REQUIREMENTS
- A background in a customer-facing or sales-related role
- Strong motivation to kickstart your career in Sales or Customer Success
- You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and are excited to grow alongside the company
- Exceptional people skills. After all, you are the first person that our customers will ultimately meet… first impressions are everything!
- Results-driven mindset with a genuine, empathetic approach to customer conversations
- Fluent in English (our company language) and German ????????
