We are looking for a passionate and committed German Teacher to become a valued member of our IB team. We seek someone who not only has a deep understanding of the German language and culture but also possesses exceptional teaching skills to effectively engage and motivate students at different proficiency levels.
- Design and deliver dynamic German language lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters cultural appreciation and active participation.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies, resources, and assessments to promote language acquisition and proficiency.
- Monitor student progress closely and provide constructive feedback to support their language learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop integrated curriculum and cross-disciplinary projects.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and academic performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in German, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in German with native or near-native fluency.
- Previous experience teaching German at the elementary, secondary, or post-secondary level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning environment.
- Certification in teaching German (e.g., teaching credential, TESOL/TEFL certification) is advantageous.
- IB teaching experience would be beneficial.
