DESCRIPTION
Location: Porto, Portugal
Role: Dutch Customer Service Specialist – Medical Devices
Salary package: 18,887 EUR gross p/a plus meal allowance
- €1,100 gross per month (14 payments per year)
- €150 gross fixed bonus per month (11 payments per year)
- Approx. €167 net meal allowance per month (11 payments per year)
Working hrs: 40 hrs p/week rotational between Monday to Sunday, 24x 7 (rotative shifts, sometimes but not often a night shift)
Relocation package:
- Furnished room in a shared apartment for up to 12 months
- Utilities included
- Subsidised rent, deducted directly from salary
About the Role
Join a global leader in insulin delivery and diabetes technology that designs and manufactures advanced automated insulin delivery systems. These products reduce the daily burden of diabetes management while creating new possibilities for patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
As a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Specialist, you will provide empathetic, accurate, and regulatory-compliant support to patients and healthcare professionals using innovative diabetes care solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer care and technical assistance for medical devices across European markets
- Support patients with product usage through phone, email, chat, and SMS
- Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance for medical diabetes devices and accessories
- Manage order intake, renewals, and documentation in line with company procedures
- Apply active listening and empathy when supporting patients in sensitive situations
- Follow defined procedures, scripts, and compliance standards to ensure patient safety
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Ability to support multiple markets simultaneously
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- High problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle disputes, emergencies, and stressful situations with professionalism
- Active listening and empathy in every interaction
