Location: Porto, Portugal

Role: Dutch Customer Service Specialist – Medical Devices

Salary package: 20,887 EUR gross p/a plus meal allowance

€1,100 gross per month (14 payments per year)

€150 gross fixed bonus per month (11 payments per year)

Approx. €167 net meal allowance per month (11 payments per year)

€166 gross p/m welcome bonus (12 payments a year)

Working hrs: 40 hrs p/week rotational between Monday to Sunday, 24x 7 (rotative shifts, sometimes but not often a night shift)

Relocation package:

Furnished room in a shared apartment for up to 12 months
Utilities included
Subsidised rent, deducted directly from salary

About the Role

As a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Specialist, you will provide empathetic, accurate, and regulatory-compliant support to patients and healthcare professionals using innovative diabetes care solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver customer care and technical assistance for medical devices across European markets
Support patients with product usage through phone, email, chat, and SMS
Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance for medical diabetes devices and accessories
Manage order intake, renewals, and documentation in line with company procedures
Apply active listening and empathy when supporting patients in sensitive situations
Follow defined procedures, scripts, and compliance standards to ensure patient safety

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent Dutch and English
Ability to support multiple markets simultaneously
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
High problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to handle disputes, emergencies, and stressful situations with professionalism
Active listening and empathy in every interaction
Background in healthcare, technical support, or knowledge of diabetes/medical devices is a plus
Proven ability to retain and manage large amounts of information
